American Weigh Wholesale, Inc. Limited Warranty

 

If there are any differences between this online warranty and the warranty included in the box with your product, then the terms of this online warranty supersede those included with your product. American Weigh Wholesale, Inc. (hereinafter “we,” “our,” “us,” or “American Weigh”) warrants to the original end user purchaser that our American Weigh Scales, DigitZ, Fast Weigh, Blade, and Peachtree scale products distributed by us (the “Products”) will be free of manufacturing defects or defects in materials or workmanship. The applicable warranty period begins on the original date of purchase by the original end user purchaser and continues for the time period provided for each Product brand in the table below.

 

American Weigh Scales - 10 years
American Weigh Blade  - 10 years
Fast Weigh - 5 years
Peachtree  - 5 years
DigitZ - 5 years

 

Because we cannot control the quality of products sold by unauthorized sellers, this warranty applies only to Products that were purchased from us or from an American Weigh Wholesale, Inc. authorized seller, unless otherwise prohibited by law. We reserve the right to reject warranty claims from purchasers for Products purchased from unauthorized sellers, including unauthorized Internet sites. This warranty does not extend to damages or defects that result from the following: misuse, unreasonable use, neglect, overloading the scale, dropping or otherwise shocking the scale, accident, improper service or calibration, normal wear and tear, other causes not arising from defects in materials and/or workmanship, or failure to use or store the Product in accordance with instructions furnished by us. This warranty does not cover accessories or other removable parts such as batteries and AC adapters. We do not service other manufacturer warranties.

 

During the applicable warranty period, we will repair or replace any defective Product without charge at our option. If your Product model has been discontinued, it will be replaced with a comparable Product model.


Our Product warranty will not be honored if you fail to provide a proof of purchase showing the Product you purchased, the date of purchase, and the retailer from whom you purchased the Product. To obtain service under the terms of this warranty, you must provide a copy of your original sales receipt or other proof of purchase showing the Product purchased, the date the Product was purchased, and where the Product was purchased. We may require you to return the defective Product, in which case you are responsible for the shipping charges to send the defective Product back to our warranty processing center. Please choose a shipping method with delivery confirmation. We are not responsible for returns not received or damaged due to improper packaging.  Please include your name with the Product for faster processing. We will pay the standard ground shipping cost to return the repaired or replaced Product unless you are an international customer. International customers who choose to return a Product for warranty repair or replacement are responsible for shipping charges to our warranty processing center as well as return shipping charges back to them, and authorize us to bill such charges to the credit card used to place the order. We are not responsible for any customs duties or fees associated with international returns. Please take the time to thoroughly clean your Product before returning it to us. We will not service Products with any foreign substances present. We reserve the right to destroy and immediately dispose of any Product with foreign substances present, in which case there may be no warranty service to you. During the applicable warranty period, if you have unintentionally damaged your scale or failed to keep proper documentation for our warranty (original receipt or other proof of purchase) you may be eligible for our Failed Warranty Policy. Under this policy, you can send the Product back to our warranty-processing center with a check or money order for a new replacement Product at a discounted price quoted by us. This price includes the new replacement Product as well as return shipping cost. There are no warranties which extend beyond those stated herein. Any implied warranties that may be applicable to Products, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the duration of this warranty. Some States do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. Under no circumstances shall we be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages based upon breach of this limited warranty, breach of contract or strict liability. Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.
